IS AUTOPILOT GOOD ???

Is autopilot good!!! What do you think???

Here
autopilot doesn't meant an aeroplane's autopilot, it means to run your brain in an autopilot mode. You can understand autopilot clearly by this example. Remember when you learned to ride a motor bike, you paid attention very keenly about when to change gear, how to operate clutch, how to use breaks, how to keep balance etc. But now, when you are master to use those things and good in riding a bike, thinking is no longer required, instead of you hold your brain somewhere else while riding it, this state of mind/brain is called autopilot of mind/brain. The same you can notice in anything, our jobs ,our relationships ,our food, everything is in autopilot. Is it a good habit?

To switch off this autopilot mode and bring our consciousness to real time work is very much important. Have you ever watched a detective film, where no one can solve the mystery instead of the detective, even you too cannot imagine the result. Here the detective is designed to teach you how to not be in an autopilot mode and be conscious and watch those things which no one else can see.
So how to not be in an autopilot??
Have you ever noticed, when you are eating, driving, reading , walking or listening , you get lost in your thoughts, which are not even relevant to your work. At that time, bring your consciousness back and ask yourself, " what is more important to me, at this time? Is it the time to read and understand this book, or to get lost ? " Always A right kind of question kills your thought process and brings you back to real time . At the beginning your brain will try to dominate you, but if you practice this for some days then you will find that, your conscious mind will be in an auto mode, you can do every work by paying your full attention. And who knows, you might be the next Sherlock holmes .😉
